As February enters this year, hearts are now flying as people anticipate the day of hearts days from now. In celebration of love, veteran actress Aiko Melendez finally opens up about her love life in a Magandang Buhay guesting.

“I have someone special now,” Aiko shared which got the hosts, others guests, and audience cheering.

“We are dating. You know, we are getting to know each other. We are enjoying each other’s company,” a vague description Aiko continued.

She may have opened her heart to someone, but she is still not ready to reveal his identity to the public.

“Like I’ve said, you find love and let love find you. This time around, because hindi ko nga siya hinanap at kusang dumating, ang sarap sa pakiramdam (I did not look for him, he just came, it feels wonderful),” Aiko shared.

The actress expanded on the idea of ‘not looking for love.’

(I did not look for him. I prayed for him. I said, “Lord, I already got my quota in pain. Can you please give me a person who will love me more than I will love him, someone my children will accept, and someone who fears you that he will not do any harm to anyone?’” she narrated.

With her past heartbreaks, Aiko chose to lay everything down to the Lord and simply wait for his grace.

“After ilang months, ito ibinigay na sa akin (After a few months, He gave him to me),” she said.

While the month celebrates all kinds of love, Aiko shares that one must not forget to put God in the center of relationships, for according to her, she realized how important it was to put God and everything will follow.

Aiko together with her other female co-stars in the soon-to-end teleserye “Wildflower,” were the guests in the Magandang Buhay episode.
