The stars behind the phenomenal serye that reached 622 episodes, “Be Careful with My Heart,” are coming back to the television screens in their new roles, and with an addition.

Jodi Sta. Maria known for her role as “Maya” in the said serye is working on another project with Richard Yap, Maya’s “Sir Chief.”

However, this is not the first project of the two after the hit serye ended in 2014, since they worked on the romantic-comedy movie in 2016, “The Achy Breaky Hearts” with Ian Veneracion.

But it looks like Jodi is set to be snatched between two leading men once again as Robin Padilla joins the main cast of their upcoming serye “Sana Dalawa ang Puso.”

Jodi will be playing two characters that are polar opposites, named Mona and Lisa.

Hindi naging madali, pero very exciting and I think isa ito sa very challenging roles na ginawa ko (It was not easy, but it was exciting and I think this is one of the very challenging roles that I did),” Jodi said in an ABS-CBN interview.

Richard, in the same interview, expressed his joy on working with the actress again.

“For me syempre (of course), gustong-gusto ko makasama ulit si Jodi (I really want to be with her again). Masarap siya katrabaho (She is fun to work with) and she’s a great actress,” he said.

Meanwhile, this will be the first time for action star Robin to work with Jodi.

Sumasabog ang kagandahan ni Jodi (Jodi’s beauty is blasting),” Robin jested.

He also revealed that he met up with Richard in private before the taping of the serye to ask for his advice.

Masarap daw katrabaho si Jodi. Totoo pala. Wala na akong mahihiling pa sa isang leading lady (He said that Jodi was fun to work with. It was true. I cannot ask anything anymore from such a leading lady),” Robin said, then adding jokingly, “Pinuntahan ko muna nang personal si Sir Chief. Nagpaalam ako kung pwede ba ako mag-over the bakod (I asked for permission if I can go over the fence).”

“Sana Dalawa ang Puso” will air this January 29.
