MANILA — Stephan Schrock made what could be his greatest moment playing club football in the Philippines.

The energetic midfielder scored the game winning goal as Ceres Negros trounced Kaya Makati at the death, 1-0, in Game 1 of their PFL Finals Series showdown at the University of Makati Athletic Oval in Makati on Sunday night.

In a game that many thought will end up in a goalless draw, Schrock dazzled through the Makati defense and rifled in a goal from the left side of the penalty box that Ref Cuaresma could not stop in the second minute of stoppage time.

The goal did not just give Negros the win but also a vital away goal that will be of a huge boost come the second leg at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod on Saturday night. (PNA)
