MANILA — Two new faces made it to the Azkals training pool for their AFC Asian Cup qualifier match against Yemen on Sept. 5 at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City.

Tyler Matas, who has become a key player for Meralco Manila especially when the Younghusband brothers departed for Davao, was called to the 23-man pool.

Also making it to the pool is Harry Foll, 19-year-old midfielder who plays for German third division side Hansa Rostock.

The Younghusbands, both James and Phil, headline five Davao players who composed the Azkals pool.

Joining the siblings are Dylan De Bruycker, Nick O’Donnell, and Simone Rota.

On the other hand, Ceres Negros, which is called Panaad home in the PFL, has eight representatives to the training pool, namely, Carli De Murga, Josh Grommen, Kevin Ingreso, Junior Muñoz, Manny Ott, Iain Ramsay, Luke Woodland, and Patrick Reichelt.

Also having five players called to the Nationals is Global Cebu, which will be represented by Misagh Bahadoran, Patrick Deyto, Pika Minegishi, Paul Mulders, and Dannis Villanueva.

Completing the national team pool are Neil Etheridge (Cardiff), Mike Ott (Angthong), and Stephen Palla (Wolfsberger).
