PAGASA: Luzon to experience rains Thursday

MANILA—Luzon may likely experience rains on Thursday due to the frontal system affecting the northern part of the island, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Ilocos region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and central Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will blow from east to southeast over Mindanao, and from south to southeast over the rest of the archipelago.

The country’s coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.
