Five people face charges after man says he was confined against his will
SASKATOON – Five people are in Saskatoon police custody after a man reported being assaulted and held against his will for several hours.
The 28-year-old man reported the alleged unlawful confinement and assault Sunday night to officers who were at Royal University Hospital.
He told police he was assaulted while held in the home and that his vehicle was stolen by the suspects.
Police said he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries in hospital.
Charges are pending against the five people now in custody.
The three men and two women were arrested at a home on the 1000 block of Seventh Street East.
