“We have been focused on delivering the IT requirements of the business but our relationship with some of our vendors remains transactional. Our aspiration is for the Globe Information Systems Group (ISG) to turn select IT providers into strategic partners and engage them to become Globe’s trusted advisors who share our vision, as well as our success,” Manalang said in a statement.
Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu said the company’s continuing growth was driven by the support and cooperation of its IT affiliates.
“Our partners have been instrumental in helping us get to where we are at today. We want to be able to continue building on these relationships now that we have achieved some level of success in the mobile business and as we aim to grow our wireline business,” he emphasized.
