Police arrest 2nd most wanted person in Makati

MANILA — The operatives of the Makati Police Intelligence Division arrested second most wanted person here during police operations, Makati Police chief Sr. Supt. Ernesto T. Barlam said on Friday.

Barlam identified the suspect as Anselmo De Jesus Carino, 42 resident of 9210 Pateros St., Barangay Valenzuela, Makati City.

Barlam said Carino was arrested around 5:20 p.m. on Thursday by the operatives of Makati Intelligence Division headed by Sr. Inspector Ferdie Satorre by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Selma Palacio Alaras of Makati City Regional Trial Court, Branch 62.

Police record showed that Carino was involved in the series of robbery hold up in Makati victimizing call center agents and he is listed as the number 2 most wanted criminal in the said city.

The suspect is now presently detained at Makati Police station and facing robbery charges.
