MANILA – Worse comes to worst, if Manny Pacquiao will not be able to stop Chris Algieri on their battle for the WBO welterweight title on November 23, he may go back to the light welterweight division.

All because chief trainer Freddie Roach thinks that Pacquaio’s punches will have more power at 140 pounds.

In the 147 pound category, Pacquiao failed to finish off his opponents given he is smaller.

Roach revealed that Pacquiao cannot increase his power at 147 pounds.

Pacquaio’s knock-out of then light welterweight king Ricky Hatton on May 2, 2009 is a highlight in terms of boxing’s knockouts, as well as his fight against Miguel Cotto on November 14.

After his victory against Timothy Bradley last April, Pacquiao boasted that he can go back to 140 and even 135 pounds.
