Golf tournament aims to raise $100K
History was made when the inaugural tee-off for the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament took place in 2005. Ten years later, the tournament has raised in excess of $900,000 for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. services for those otherwise will be underserved – women, seniors, family and youth.
The 10th annual S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Golf Tournament will return to Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country Club in Richmond on Sept. 9. The foundation aims to raise another $100,000 to surpass the one million dollar mark.
Since 2005, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation has held its charity golf tournament at the idyllic Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club in Richmond, BC. Annually, 144 of Vancouver’s business and community leaders take part in the tournament that includes a barbecue lunch, 18 holes of spectacular golf followed by a delectable buffet dinner with games, prizes and the tournament award ceremony.
