LONDON—Tottenham says it has signed goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to a new five-year contract at the club.

The 27-year-old France international said on the club’s website “I enjoy a great relationship with the club” and “the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino (the new manager) is important. I have a good feeling with him.”

Lloris captained France in the World Cup in Brazil, where they reached the quarterfinals, and has played 78 times for Tottenham since joining from French club Lyon in August 2012.
