Male wounded in both legs in overnight shooting in downtown Ottawa
OTTAWA — The Guns and Gangs unit of the Ottawa police force is investigating an overnight shooting in the downtown market area (171 George Street).
Officers responding to a shots fired call found a male victim who’d been wounded in the upper thigh area of both legs.
Police describe the injuries as non life-threatening.
They say the victim refused to provide a statement and is not co-operating with investigators.
