PH Consulate General in Vancouver brings services to Grande Prairie, Alberta

The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver conducted a successful consular outreach program to service Filipinos in Grande Prairie, Alberta from May 6 to 8.

A total of 742 consular services were rendered, including e-Passport processing (705); dual citizenship (17); civil registry (14); and notarials (6). The on-site registration for overseas voters accepted 206 applications for registration, 13 for transfer of registration and three for change of address.

The members of the consular team are Consul General Neil Ferrer, Consul Melanie Diano, Magdalena Sosa, Jeanie-Vi Llonora, Paulino Paco Jr. and Edwin Villalon.

On May 07, Consul General Ferrer met Grande Prairie Mayor Bill Given and the members of the Chamber of Commerce of Grande Prairie. They discussed the issue of the temporary foreign workers program.

The Consul General also attended a luncheon meeting with the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie and promoted tourism and investment to the Philippines.
