Manila, Philippines– Justice Secretary Leila de Lima is set to have her own office in Malacañang.

President Aquino, in an interview with the reporters in Myanmar, announced that he is thinking of transferring de Lima to the Office of the President (OP) in Malacañang.

He explained that this setup will be more efficient because de Lima has many important cases to work on.

“Three days a week sa amin, two days sa DOJ siguro mga ganun,” he said. (She may spend three days with us, then two days at the DOJ.)
