Fans of One Direction in the Philippines will still have to wait for the final announcement on May 19 whether the boy band is coming or not.

Rhiza Pascua, CEO of concert promotion firm MMI posted the latest development on Twitter.

“Attn Directioners: Announcement has been moved to May 19 per management. It will be at 8am,” her post said.

Meanwhile, “One Direction Philippines,” the band’s official fans club encouraged the fans to be calm and patient.

“As per @ItsArpee and @MMILive, the announcement scheduled for the 7th of May, 2014 has been moved to the 19th of May, 2014 at 8 o’clock in the morning. Please do not be quick to blame anyone, as the moving of the announcement is an order given directly to the aforementioned people by 1DHQ. We would like to ask everyone to please stay calm and be patient; a few extra days of waiting will not hurt anybody,” the post said.

“The Philippine fandom can expect to hear the news first from @ItsArpee and @MMILive, and as always, we would like for you guys to trust in us and @ivorymusicvideo as always. We would never do anything to break the bond, connection, and trust our team has built with the fandom over the years,” it added.

Pascua was also quick to refute that the information being spread on social media regarding the details of the still-unconfirmed One Direction concert came from MMI.

“Directioners: Beware of fake info. This one is not real. It didn’t come from MMI. This is all wrong,” she posted on Twitter.
