Shredded cheese products sold in western Canada recalled due to Listeria fear

OTTAWA–Castle Cheese Inc. is recalling Okanagan’s Choice Cheese brand shredded cheese products due to possible Listeria contamination.
The cheese is sold in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba.
Four products are involved Nacho Blend – Cheddar, Mozzarella Shredded Cheese, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and Shredded Parmesan Cheese.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says all carry a best-before date of Jan. 13, 2015 (15JA13).
The agency says there are no reported illnesses linked to eating the affected cheese, which should be tossed out or returned to the store where purchased.
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick.
Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness.
Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk.
