Senior Superintendent and Public Information Office Chief Reuben Sindac of the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Friday that the PNP is ready to ensure the safety of senators and authorities should the hearing take place at the Special Action Force Headquarters in Fort Sto. Domingo, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

It is the same facility where alleged prok barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles is currently detained for the serious illegal detention of whistleblower Benhur Luy.

According to Sindac, the tentative venue of the hearing is right beside the detention facility where Napoles is staying, which is a bungalow with a receiving lounge for her guests, a refrigerator for her diabetes medication, and an airconditioning unit.

It is the same venue where Moro National Liberation Front Nur Misuari was detained and tried in late 2001. Former president and now Manila Mayor Joseph Ejercito-Estrada was also detained in the same facility in 2001.
