When you just want to live a peaceful life but one day you woke up being the talk of the town.

Maybe Gabby Concepcion can relate to that as he woke up one morning—discovering that he has been tagged as the owner of a media company. #SHOOKT!

President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday once again stuck a knife into TV network ABS-CBN for allegedly not airing his campaign advertisements during Presidential elections. As he criticized the network, he unknowingly summoned a dash of humor to his diatribe when he mistakenly addressed the media company’s chairman as ‘Gabby Concepcion’ instead of ‘Gabby Lopez.’

At the 120th anniversary of the Department of Justice (DOJ) in the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Duterte said “Sino naka-pu—ina ninyong lahat. Ikaw? Gabby Concepcion, mukha kang pera, p—ina ka. Eh totoo man. Eh sus.”

The President, however, corrected himself the third time he referred to Lopez.

“Makinig ka, Gabby Lopez — nag-place ako ng advertisement. Tinanggap ninyo ‘yung pera kong two million para kasi wala akong advertisement [Listen, Gabby Lopez— I placed an advertisement and you accepted my two million pesos],” he said.

On his two separate Instagram posts on Tuesday, the actor wrote “Na ospital bigla dahil sa mistaken identity [Suddenly hospitalized due to mistaken identity],” including the hashtags #mistaken #accident #ikaanimnautos #stray #wrong #wrongtarget #philippines.

“Rome…tinamaan ng bala. Na ospital bigla dahil sa mistaken identity [Rome, hit by a bullet, was hospitalized because of mistaken identity],” the actor wrote as a caption on his other Instagram account.

In the latest episode of “Ika-6 Na Utos”, Rome was hospitalized after an incident that made him lost his memories. Not remembering anything from the past, it seems that Rome is now a completely different man.

Aside from the actor, Atty. Gaby Concepcion of Unang Hirit’s Kapuso sa Batas also issued a disclaimer on her Instagram account using a photo with Gabby Concepcion. She wrote “Hindi Po Kami Yun, Mr. President! Maniwala Po kayo sa amin, inosente Kami! Hindi Po makapal Ang mukha namin! Pramis! [It’s not us, Mr. President! Please believe in us, we’re innocent! We’re not thick faced! Promise!]”

Meanwhile, Duterte’s tirade garnered many reactions from netizens when he mixed up the names of ‘Gabby Lopez’ and ‘Gabby Concepcion.’
