MANILA—Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening will prevail over Metro Manila and rest of the country, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released Saturday afternoon (May 6).

The easterlies are affecting the country’s eastern section, said PAGASA.

“Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the east over rest of the country,” PAGASA said.

Coastal waters nationwide will be slight to moderate, PAGASA added.
