MANILA–Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail throughout the archipelago on Labor Day, state weather Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

These rainshowers will likely happen in the afternoon or in the evening, it added.

The agency also said the easterlies are currently affecting the eastern part of the country.

Light to moderate winds will blow from east to southeast over northern and central Luzon, and from east over the rest of the archipelago.
