MANILA–Not even Manny Pacquiao’s presence helped Mahindra’s cause.

The San Miguel Beermen added more woes to the Floodbusters with a 109-80 beating at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay on Wednesday night.

SMB led from wire to wire and quickly built a huge advantage that the team never conceded.

Alex Cabagnot led the Beermen, who are now 4-0 in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, with 26 points, 16 in the first quarter, eight rebounds, and four assists, while Charles Rhodes added 20 points, 18 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks.

Keith Wright finished with 16 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal for the Floodbusters, who lost their fourth straight and fell to 1-6.
