PAGASA: Isolated rainshowers to prevail over PHL Monday

MANILA–Party cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the entire archipelago, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Monday.

According to weather forecaster Meno Mendoza, the ridge of a high pressure area is extending across Luzon, while the easterlies are affecting Visayas and Mindanao.

Light to moderate winds will blow from east to southeast over Luzon, and from east to southeast over Visayas and Mindanao.

The country’s coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.
