MANILA—More than a hundred flights of flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will be cancelled on March 6-11 due to the temporary shut down of Tagaytay radar.

Tagaytay radar is among the radars used by the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). It will be temporarily shut down for maintenance and upgrade.

The Civil Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) earlier said that flights per hour will be reduced during this period. Thus, passengers were advised to coordinate with airlines their flight schedules.

The complete list of affected flights can be found in the airline’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/flyPAL.

Passengers may call the PAL hotline at (02) 855-8888 to get updates on their flight schedules.

They can also go to the nearest PAL ticket office or travel agency that facilitated the issuance of their tickets. Passengers may also send an email to wecare@pal.com.ph.

PAL said affected passengers may rebook their tickets within 30 days from original date of departure, or refund their tickets in full.

The airline added that affected passengers can opt to re-route to the nearest alternative point within PAL’s network.
