MANILA –Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Ismael Sueno said his work is business as usual despite reports of former vice presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr. taking over his post.

“With the information being floated about the change at the helm of the DILG, I take no offense whatsoever. It is business as usual for me as I dispense my duties and functions with the blessings of President Duterte,” Sueno said in a statement Wednesday.

He stressed he serves at the pleasure of the president, adding it is within his power to appoint members of the Cabinet.
