MANILA – Dreams do come true, especially for people who persevere. This goes true for Elha Nympha who recently bagged the crown in the second season of The Voice Kids Philippines last Sunday, August 30.

Nympha’s coach, Bamboo Manalac, was emotional after their team’s win.

“I am, I am [very emotional]. I’m very invested in my kids, it’s that simple…Sassa was great, but I just thought Elha, this was hers,” he said. “I was very emotional at the finals… I knew the moment she nailed it, I knew nothing could be said, nobody can say anything. I told her, let’s not give anybody any excuses. We just have to be at our best…and then she did that consistently amazing,” added Manalac.

This is the first victory of Team Bamboo. His bet during the first season, JK Labajo, came in third.

Manalac shared that he made the right decision when he chose Nympha. He added that one of the her best traits is that she’s very teachable.

“Whenever I gave her anything, any instruction immediately next time she gets it, she hits it immediately, that’s how sharp she is,” said Manalac.

Meanwhile, when asked about her plans about her cash prize, Nympha said that she will save up her money so that she can put up a restaurant.

The Voice Kids PH champion also expressed her gratitude to all who voted for her.

“I’m very thankful for those who helped me, especially coach Bamboo and God,” shared Nympha. “I was very happy
