MANILA – Actress Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo shares how grateful she is for her new teleserye “Someone to Watch Over Me,” which is put on hold as she takes time off from showbiz.

Juday is currently two-months pregnant, prompting her to decline from her role in the teleserye as an NBI agent  which she thought could be of too much burden to her and the baby.

The producer of the teleserye, Dreamscape Entertainment Television, however, decided to postpone the show and wait for the actress’ comeback in showbiz.

Juday, for her part, is beyond grateful.

“Hindi ko in-expect na ganun ang outcome, ang decision ng Dreamscape. The last time I spoke to them regarding my condition, ako pa nga ang nagsabi na okay lang ibigay na lang sa iba kasi ayaw ko namang maging greedy dun sa thought na dapat sa akin iyan, project ko iyan,” Juday said in an interview with PEP.ph

(I didn’t expect the outcome, the decision of Dreamscape.  The last time I spoke to them regarding my condition, I was even the one who said that it was okay for me to give the role to someone else because I didn’t want to be greedy with the thought that it was supposed to be mine, it was my project.)

“Ayaw ko namang ibitin ‘yung cast, ‘yung crew, ‘yung staff ng dahil lang sa akin. Everybody needs to earn a living so when they texted me the full announcement of Dreamscape, siyempre nandoon ‘yung grateful ako, nandoon ‘yung pagpapatulo ng luha,” she added.

(I didn’t want the cast, the crew, the staff to be left hanging just because of me. Everybody needs to earn a living so when they texted me the full announcement of Dreamscape, of course I was grateful, tears fell.)
