MANILA – Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu said that she was okay working with former boyfriend and co-star Gerald Anderson should they be paired for a project again.

“Oo. Pwede naman siguro (Yes. I think it’s okay),” Chiu said in a television interview when asked about the possibility of working with Anderson again.

Chiu, however, was quick to explain her part.

(I don’t like to think about the future. I don’t want to dwell where I’m going. I’m the type of person who enjoys what’s at the present.)

“Kasi kapag mag-expect ako ng future, baka ‘di mangyari ang gusto kong mangyari. Malulungkot pa ako made-depress pa ako. So ayaw kong mag-think in advance,” she added.

(Because if I expect in the future, what I want to happen may not happen.  I will then be saddened and depressed. So, I don’t want to think in advance.)

Just last month, Anderson and actress-dancer Maja Salvador broke up. Chiu asked the public to respect her ex-boyfriend and former best friend’s privacy. She also stressed that she is in good terms with both of them.
