Pacquiao buys house in Beverly Hills
MANILA — Manny Pacquiao bought the 10,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills, California, adding to the sprawling number of his real estate property collection.
Aquiles Zonio of Philboxing.com said that Pacquiao bought the property owned by rap Mogul Sean Combs, known in the industry as Puff Daddy Diddy and P. Diddy.
The said property was reportedly sold to an individual who later sold it to Roger and Gale Dauer, from whom Pacquiao acquired the property.
In the Philboxing.com report, Pacquiao said that he bought the property to surprise his family.
He was quoted saying:
“Behind all my success in life is my wife Jinkee. I wanted to surprise them. But this is no longer a secret. Maybe they knew it already. I could not hide it from the media. Reporters are following me wherever I go.”
The mansion was earlier reported to have seven bedrooms and half baths, a wide cobblestone driveway, a swimming pool and a fountain.
It also has several fire pits and patios and spa.
Pacquiao, who is busy preparing for his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. currently owns a mansion in Forbes Park Makati and in his hometown in General Santos City.
