MANILA, Philippines – The government has given graduating students its two-cents on the job hunt: take the civil service exam on May 3, and opt for a career in government service.

According to the Civil Service Commission (CSC), passing the Career Service Examination-Paper-and-Pencil Test qualifies an applicant for sub-professional and professional levels of career service, which is one of the fundamental steps towards a career in government.

Filipino citizens who are 18-years of age and above are eligible to take the exam, the CSC noted. Applications should be filed at the CSC regional office, as well as CSCRO’s Field Offices, on or before March 12.

The CSC also noted that applicant who have previously failed the exam may retake it once every three months, provided that they retake the same exam level.

For more information, visit the CSC website at www.csc.gov.ph.
