MANILA — Photographs submitted by the prosecution showed Sen. Bong Revilla present during Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile’s 91st celebration.

This is despite Revilla’s firm denial that he attended Enrile’s party on Feb. 14 at Camp Crame.

Revilla also described the prosecution’s claims as “baseless, malicious and outright lies.”

The said photo was used by the prosecution to oppose Revilla’s request to undergo medical examination.

Meanwhile, a columnist from Manila Bulletin confirmed Revilla’s presence in the party through an article published several days after Enrile’s brithday .

Revilla, however said that he was taken by he personnel of the Philippine National Police Custodial Center, the afternoon of the said day after he experienced “cold sweats, stiffness and pain on the back [of] my head and neck.”

“Reports that I was sneaked out by PNP personnel from the PNP Custodial Center are absolutely false,” Revilla said.

“It is not true that I was at the hospital to visit Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile. I did not go to his room as I did not even know where that was. Reports and assertions to the contrary are baseless, malicious and outright lies,” he said.
