MANILA – Actress Julia Montes admitted that she is strict on herself when it comes to accommodating suitors or dating because she wants to focus on her career.

“I don’t want to think about dating or my love life because I want to focus on my career,” said Montes. “Whenever I have a new interest, I have a tendency of losing my focus because of it. I don’t want to happen this to my career,” she explained.

When asked why there are still issues linking her to Coco Martin although the two are no longer co-stars, Montes said that it is probably because they remain close.

“Even before, when we were not yet onscreen partners, I already know him,” said Montes.

Montes’ newest movie, titled “Halik sa Hangin,” will hit the big screens nationwide on Wednesday. Her co-stars include Gerald Anderson and JC de Vera.
