MANILA – For this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Vice Ganda aims to get the number one spot. And he is positive that his movie “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” is a top contender.

“Everybody’s goal is to succeed during the film fest. I know that there are a lot of good movies contending, but I wish for our movie to get the number one spot. It will really make me happy this Christmas,” said Vice Ganda.

Vice is competing with friend Kris Aquino with the latter’s “Feng Shui.”

He noted that his co-star Richard Yap – who is usually known for his serious TV roles – will surprise a lot of viewers.

“Surprisingly I found him very funny,” said Vice during the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Television. “As a matter of fact, I was making fun of him. I told him that I’m scared because what if after this movie, viewers will find him funnier than me.”

During the said interview, Vice also shared that he is currently enjoying life as it is. He shared that his goals keep him going despite the challenges he’s facing which include his recent surgery.

When asked where he will spend the holidays, Vice answered that he will be staying in the country.

“I have no plans of spending my Christmas abroad; I’ll stay here in the Philippines. But for New Year, I will fly off to Dubai because I have a gig there,” he shared.
