MANILA – Kapuso star Alden Richards shared his experience attending the 3rd Hanoi International Film Festival last Sunday.

He was there to represent the short film “Kinabukasan (The Day After)” which was directed by Adolfo Alix Jr. The film was competing in the shorts section of the said fest.

“I was nervous,” said Richards as he recalled his red-carpet moment. “Then I saw Filipinos in the gallery cheering for me.”

He added, “A lot of young actors dream of this. It makes me proud to be Filipino.”

“Working with Ate Guy (Aunor’s nickname) was an opportunity of a lifetime. Being invited to Vietnam was a wonderful bonus,” he said.

“Kinabukasan” will also be part of the Imagine Shorts program of the Singapore International Film Festival which will happen from December 4 to 14.
