GUELPH, Ont.—Police are investigating an apparent stabbing incident involving an 18-year-old University of Guelph student.

They say the student called 911 to report that he’d been stabbed by an unknown male.

The victim was taken to Guelph Hospital, but there’s been no word on his condition.

Police say it appears to have been an isolated incident.

But they haven’t said anything about the hunt for a possible suspect, or a possible motive for the incident—only that the investigation is ongoing.
