MANILA – Rather than spending her time stressing out over her upcoming wedding, singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino is enjoying every day leading to the date.

Her boyfriend, Yan Asuncion, proposed to her last March.

“The very next day, I was already looking for pegs—how I want my wedding to look,” shared Constantino during the press conference of her upcoming concert “Icon.”

She added, “I’m very relaxed. I’m not one to obsess over details. I’m enjoying myself.”

The two are set to wed on February 14, 2015 at Tagaytay. Then they will spend a week in Maldives for their honeymoon.

“We’ll go immediately after the wedding. I’m so happy because it’s my dream [destination],” said Constantino. “Then we’ll fly to the United States.”

She added, “Yan and I are also excited to live in our own house.”

When asked if they have plans of having a baby, Constantino revealed that she and her fiancé had long been discussing it. She expressed that she wants a baby girl for her firstborn.

“My fiancé’s siblings are all boys, so he didn’t get to experience what it’s like to have a little princess in the house,” said Constantino adding that she wants to wait for two more years so she could prepare better.

“Having a child is a responsibility,” she stressed. “I’ve started reading up.”

Meanwhile, the 25-year-old singer assured her fans that she will not stop making music after getting married.

“For as long as my fans love me, I’ll continue writing and singing songs,” she stressed.
