One Pinay remains on The Voice Austrailia

MANILA — After one of the two Filipina was eliminated in the Voice Austrailia, only Fely Irvine, a former member of popular children’s singing group “Hi-5” remains.

The Filipino-Scottish contestant who is under the team of celebrity coach Ricky Martin, sang her rendition of Blu Cantrell’s “Hit ‘Em Up Style” during Monday’s showdown.

Irvine, luckily survived the showdown and was sent to Sing-Off.

Meanwhile, Sydney-based, Jhoanna Aguila, also a Filipina contestant was eliminated during the showdown.

“I’m so blessed and privileged to have met and learnt from such talented and gifted artists. Thank you for this opportunity. I won’t forget the wonderful, unique and fun memories + friendships I’ve made along the way,” said Aguila on social networking site, Facebook.

Aguila perfromed her version of Alicia Keys’ “Fallin,” but was cut short as she was eliminated. 

“This isn’t the end for me, only bigger and better things yet to come!,” she added.
