OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a tornado has killed two people in a small Oklahoma town.

Ottawa County sheriff’s dispatcher Colleen Thompson says the two were reportedly killed when the twister hit the community Sunday evening.

She says the extent of the damage is still unknown.

The tornado was one of several spawned by a large storm front moving through the U.S. Midwest and South. There have been no other reported deaths due to the storms.
