BORACAY, Philippines- The new John Lloyd Cruz is here.

After the Century Tuna Superbods Super Challenge’s 42-day diet and exercise, the award-winning actor is now fitter and healthier.

On Saturday night, April 26, John Lloyd wowed everyone with his big transformation.

“Sino ba hindi nenerbyusin? First time ko pumasok sa ganitong klaseng challenge and I really enjoyed it, I had fun. Pero ‘yong launch na talaga, grabe, kasi all eyes are on you.”

( Who will not be nervous? It was my first time to join this kind of challenge and I really enjoyed it, I had fun. But the actual launch, it’s super, because all eyes are on you.)

After shredding 18 lbs, he admitted that he still wants to lose more.  He added that more than the six-pack abs and bulky muscles, what he wants to achieve is a healthier lifestyle.

“So ‘yong katawan parang bonus na lang ‘yon sa process,” he said.

(So, the body is just a bonus in the process.)

When asked what are the adjustments that he had to make in order to achieve his new physique, he said:  “Malaking adjustment kasi hindi mo nakakain ‘yong typically gusto mo kainin. So siyempre dahil you’re under training, may program, kaya konting tiis muna ko.”

(Big adjustment because you are not able to eat the usual food that you want to eat.  So, of course, because you’re under training, there’s a program, so little sacrifice first.)

Before ending the show,  he inspired everyone to follow what he has started en route to a healthier lifestyle, “Kung kaya ko, kaya n’yo rin!”

(If I can do it, you can also do it!).
